Let's get to know me

Software Engineer | Founder | Physicist

My name is Till, and I'm a software engineer and founder based in Berlin. Since discovering my interest in programming at the age of five, I have grown my skills and knowledge to a professional level. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the Technical University of Berlin and have developed a professional flashcard app.

After obtaining my Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, I decided to pursue my second passion, Physics. To supplement my learning, I also employed the use of flashcards to help me retain the concepts and formulas I was studying. Through my experience, I found that this method was very effective and often found myself helping my fellow students with explanations.

During my vacation with two friends, we had a lightbulb moment and came up with the idea of developing a flashcard app. Thus, in 2019, we released TubeCards, a cross-platform Spaced Repetition app with a 4.6 rating (over 500 reviews and more than 100k downloads) across all major platforms. This app leverages an algorithm to optimise the review dates for maximum learning efficiency, allowing users to make the most of their flashcards.

  • Current company: TubeCards
  • City: Berlin, Germany
  • Degree: B. SC. in Computer Engineering
  • Freelance: Available

Outside of programming, I enjoy spending time with friends, doing sports and reading books. I also have a passion for learning new things and reading stories from the LessWrong community.
